Giant-killers in the 2025 President Federation Cup, Abakaliki FC, have arrived in the commercial city of Lagos ahead of a historic finale against Kwara United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Rice Boys, as fondly called, under the tutelage of Ifeanyi Onyedika, are poised to mark the team’s first-ever appearance in the Cup final on Saturday with a good outing.

It was gathered that the team arrived early in Lagos to acclimatize and focus on the big match.

The Ebonyi state-owned side had an impressive run to the final, eliminating four Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) sides, Katsina United, Nasarawa United, Enyimba, and Ikorodu City.

The stage is set for a thrilling encounter as Abakaliki FC takes on Kwara United, who are also making their first-ever appearance in the President Federation Cup Final.
