Abia Govt Set to Reconstruct Enyimba Stadium

Abia State governor, Alex Otti is set to reconstruct the Enyimba Stadium in Aba to FIFA international standard of with 35,000 sitting capacity, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Gov. Otti had a strategic meeting with one of the leading construction companies in China, Tianjin-Yuyang Construction Engineering Co. Limited (TYC) who has indicated strong interest to Partner with the Abia State Government to build a FIFA international standard stadium. 

After several meetings and engagements with the officials of Abia State Government, coordinated by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development the reps of the company met with Gov Otti to fast track negotiations.

Speaking during the meeting they said, “We are here not as traditional contractors, we are here to partner with you sir; We are not relying on the State giving us mobilization to move to site. We are coming in with zero mobilization. We also want our payment to be spread within the tenure of your administration."
