Abia Warriors' talented centre back, Collins Nwoburuoke, has called on the passionate fans of the club for support as Umu Chineke gear up for the upcoming football season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The defence warlord was outstanding in the previous season, playing a crucial role in Abia Warriors' third-place finish in the league table and their historic qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup.

Nwoburuoke, who made 37 appearances for the Warriors last season in the Nigeria Premier Football League, said experience and skill will be vital for the team's success in the upcoming season.

The Rivers State-born football player urged the club's teeming fans and followers to support them even as he pledged the players' readiness to make them proud in the domestic and continental campaigns. 

Alongside the 2025 President Federation Cup champions, Kwara United, Umu Chineke will proudly fly Nigeria's flag in the CAF Confederation Cup and with the support of their teeming fans, the team is poised to achieve more successes.
