Abia Warriors Forward, Sunday Megwo, says he is excited with his club's qualification for a place in the continent, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

He also expressed gratitude gratitude to God Almighty for a successful campaign following the just concluded Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season after playing an important role in helping the Umuahia-based club secure a continental ticket for the first time in the club history. 

"I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to God for blessing Abia Warriors with a successful season. From the highs of thrilling victories to the lows of tough challenges, His divine guidance and protection were always present.

"I'm thankful for the opportunity to be part of this team and contribute to our achievements on the pitch. This season was particularly special for me, as I ended as the joint top scorer for Abia Warriors with 12 goals, and I also managed to register 5 assists in 32 league appearances.

"It's been an incredible journey, and I'm grateful for the support of my teammates, coaches, and fans. God's favour and mercy were evident in every match, and I praise Him for His goodness. Glory to God for the wins, the lessons, and the growth. May His name be forever praised as I look forward to an even more successful season ahead."
