Abia Warriors Clash With Rivers United Will Be Dicey - Wilson Elu

Abia Warriors utility player Wilson Elu has stated that the Warriors' league encounter against Rivers United in Port Harcourt this Sunday is going to be dicey, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Umu Chineke will be locking horns against The Pride of Rivers in a Matchday 13 fixture of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League.

The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah skipper stated that they will display a spirited performance against the Pride of Rivers.

 "It's something that we've always spoken to ourselves about, it's in us. We just have to put it out again. I think it's that performance we always have to put out all the time. I believe we can still put out that performance."

The last time both sides met in the league, Abia Warriors were victorious, a result Elu admits could be a factor while also noting the dicey nature of the encounter.

"It will be a factor, but every game is different; maybe the approach towards this game and the nature of the game is different too, but at the end of the day, we always look towards winning all the games we approach. So, I think it's going to be a dicey game, but we would come out victorious."
