Abuja To Host Two Major National Tennis Tournaments In June

 The National Stadium in Abuja is set to welcome Nigeria’s tennis community next month as it prepares to stage two prestigious national tournaments back-to-back, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The CBN National Tennis Championships will kick off proceedings, running from 12 to 20 June, followed immediately by the DavNotch National Open, scheduled for 20 to 27 June.

Organisers say the back-to-back events will provide local players with extended competitive opportunities on home soil and are expected to attract top-ranked Nigerian talents as well as emerging prospects from across the country.

The tournaments come as part of efforts to boost grassroots tennis development and raise the profile of the sport in Nigeria.
