With four days remaining until the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, attention has turned to the official Marathon Expo, which opened on Monday, February 9, and will run through February 13 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Expo is a central feature of the marathon build-up, serving as a convergence point for runners, sponsors, health professionals and sports enthusiasts in the days leading up to the race.

Speaking on the significance of the event, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nilayo Sports, Mrs Yetunde Olopade, said the Expo underscores the organisers’ commitment to promoting wellness, inclusion and public awareness.

“This Expo reflects our dedication to health and well-being,” Olopade said. “Through health talks, exhibitions and interactive sessions, we aim to encourage people of all ages to see fitness as a lifestyle, not just a one-day activity.”

During the Expo, registered participants will collect their race kits, while visitors will have access to exhibitions from leading brands and key stakeholders. The programme also features health-focused sessions addressing fitness, wellness and endurance.
