The Adarabioyo Youth Cup (AYC) is set to begin aimed at uniting young footballers from various clubs in Lagos.
According to the Lagos State Football Association, the tournament will begin on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Lagos.
The tournament will have four teams battling it out in a mini-tournament format, with the champion being crowned at the end comprising 36 Lion FC, Seamoriow FC, Mavlon FC and Eko Football Boys.
One of the exciting parts of the tournament is the meet and greet with Chelsea's central defender, Tosin Adarabioyo. This is a fantastic chance for the young players to connect with a pro footballer and gain insights from his journey.
The tournament will include semifinals and a final match, with each game made up of two 30-minute halves. The semifinal winners will move on to the final.
The semifinals will showcase the four participating clubs, with the winners heading to the final match. This is a perfect opportunity for the teams to display their talents and compete against one another.
The final match will see the two winning teams from the semifinals go head-to-head for the Adarabioyo Youth Cup trophy.
The Adarabioyo Youth Cup is an excellent initiative aimed at nurturing young footballers in Lagos. The tournament offers a stage for players to demonstrate their abilities and gain valuable experience.
