Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, 6 Others To Arrive Super Eagles Camp Today

Eight remaining Super Eagles players will join the 15 early birds as the team intensify preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa in Uyo, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

 Ademola Lookman who scored the three goals in the final to help Atalanta won their first UEFA Europa League Cup, Maduka Okoye, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi and Paul Onuachu are the eight players expected to join their compatriots from today Monday ahead of their two World Cup qualifying games against South Africa and Benin Republic in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire.

So far, 15 players have arrived and had their first training session on Sunday. The players in camp are:

 Ndidi Wilfred, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chukwueze Samuel, Fisayo Bashiru, Terem Moffi, Nwabali Stanley, Ismaila Sodiq, Kenneth Igboke, Ojo Olorunleke, Benjamin Tanimu, Ibrahim Olawoyin, Boniface Victor, Raphael Onyedika, ⁠Chidozie Awaziem and Alhassan Yusuf. 

Nigeria is placed third with two points from two games in Group C as Rwanda topped with 4 while South Africa occupied the second position with three points. Lesotho and Zimbabwe have same two points with Nigeria while Benin Republic have just one point.
