Ademola Lookman Shares Delight After Claiming Atalanta POTM Award

Nigerian pacy winger Ademola Lookman shared his delight after he was crowned Atalanta Player Of The Month for October following his impressive performance for La Dea, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Although Colombia international Luis Muriel gave the former RB Leipzig man a good run, Looman’s 4 goals in 5 games made him an uninterrupted winner of the award for October.

The Super Eagles star who has hit form since joining the Italian Serie A side posted a tweet which read: "Extremely grateful thank you! 💙🖤."

His goals were undoubtedly a key asset in tightening Atalanta’s grip on the top of the league table. 

Mola (as he’s popularly called in Bagarmo) was off to an astonishing start, with a match-winner against Fiorentina, the match-opener in Udinese, another goal to make it three points against Sassuolo and the one to seal the win over Empoli. 

The key role of these goals was the factor that tipped the scales in Lookman’s favour for the pick of this POTM.

Such commendation is coming at the right time for the Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro who is expected to release the squad list for the friendly against Portugal.
