Ademola Lookman Wins Atalanta Goal Of The Month Award

Nigeria international Ademola Lookman has been voted Atalanta’s Goal of the Month winner for October, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The winger clinched the award for his stunning effort in La Dea’s 1-1 Serie A draw against AC Milan at the Gewiss Stadium on October 28. Lookman rifled a powerful strike into the roof of the net in the 35th minute to level the score in what was a fiercely contested encounter.

The goal was Lookman’s first of the season for the former UEFA Europa League champions.

The 28-year-old topped the fan vote with 53%, beating Marco Brescianini, who finished second with 20%. Dominic Vavassori came third with 19%, while Francesco Gasparello earned 8% of the votes.

Lookman has made seven appearances for Atalanta so far this season.
