African Championship: Aruna Quadri Retains Men's Singles Title

Nigeria's table tennis star Aruna Quadri is in the cloud in far away Rades Tunisia, the venue of the African senior table tennis championship after he successfully his title, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The win was a big consolation for Nigerian International after losing a team game to Egypt.

Earlier in the day, Aruna walloped his compatriots Omotayo Olajide 4-0 (12-10, 11-6, 11-9, 11-2) to set up a clash with Egypt's Ahmed Saleh.

The Nigerian Olympian proved too much to handle for the Egyptian with a comfortable 4-0 win.

The breakdown shows a total domination of the Nigerian star (11-2, 12-10, 11-6, 11-6) and with the victory, With the result, Aruna has successfully defended his African Senior Championship title.
