African Football League: Wydad Casablanca Sign New Defender For Enyimba Clash

Former African champions Wydad Casablanca of Morocco intensified their preparations for the maiden edition of the African Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

African soccer governing body a few weeks ago conducted the draw and Moroccan giant was drawn against 2-time African champions Enyimba International.

Despite the completion of players' registrations for the Champions League second-round playoff, the management of the club deemed it fit to strengthen the team, especially in the defence.

The club on Friday signed a new defender, Jamal Harkass from a rival club.

They signed Jamal on a 2-year deal from Raja Casablanca and expected to be registered for the African Football League.

The Nigerian champions will host the first leg before travelling to Casablanca for the reverse fixture .
