African Games: Our Athletes Are Almost Ready - AFN Technical Director

The technical director of the Athletes Federation of Nigeria ( AFN) Samuel Onikeku has made a confirmation that Nigeria athletes for the upcoming African Games are almost ready, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The first pre-Africa Games competition ended in Abuja last weekend and the final preparatory events are slated to be held on the 16th and 17th of February, 2024.

“We had a good performance in 400m, 1500m, high jump, long jump and 200m where athletes posted commanding results that could fetch Nigeria podium appearances in the Africa Games", he stated.

Team Nigeria Athletes are always a big contender for a gold medal at every African Games.
