African Games 2023: Beach Volley Coach Targets Medal

Ahead of the African Beach Volleyball qualifier, the coach of the Nigerian team Francis Imoudu has focused not only on the qualification but getting a medal from the games, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side alongside the technical crew departed the shore of the country on Wednesday for Accra, Ghana the venue of the qualifier.

Imoudu emphasised that the country has never missed a competition since the game was admitted into the African games and is already eyeing another qualification.

 “We have never eluded the Africa Games since the beach volleyball event came on board. We are assuring the country that we are coming back with a medal.

The medical team has been up to the task, so we don’t have the AFCON experience", he told Punch Correspondent.

The African Games are fixed for the 8th to 23rd of March, 2024 in Accra, Ghana.
