African Handball Championship: Nigeria Lands In Group D

The draw for the 2024 African men's handball championship has been released and Team Nigeria is placed in Group D, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The competition, which is in its 26th edition, acts as the African qualifying tournament for the 2025 World Men's Handball Championship, with the top five nations qualifying.

According to the draw conducted, Team Nigeria will face Tunisia, Angola, and Kenya in Group D.

Group A has Cape Verde, DR Congo, Zambia, and debutant Rwanda, Group B consists of host Egypt, Cameroon, Guinea, and Congo while Group C has Morocco, Algeria, Gabon, and Libya.

The Championship is scheduled to be held from January 19 to 29 in Egypt.
