African Handball Club Championship: Kano Pillars off to Niger Republic

Kano Pillars handball club will be off to Niger republic to represent Nigeria at the African Club handball championship.


The Executive chairman, Kano state Sports Commission, KSSC, Ibrahim Galadima disclosed that the team is currently preparing through an open camping exercise.


He further added that the Kano handball players will be sent into close camping ahead of their departure to further strengthen the technical capacity of the team.


Galadima, who expressed hopes that the team will excel at the championship revealed that two grade A friendly matches have been arranged for the team, prior to their departure to Niamey, in Niger Republic, where the championship will take place in early May this year.


“to prepare the team, we have arranged for two top friendly matches against two among the best handball teams in Nigeria, FRSC and NSCDC.” He stated .
