African School Championship: Nigeria Faces Tough Oppositions In Group B

Nigeria has been handed a tough oppositions in group B as the Confederation of African Football released the draw, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The draw, held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in Lome Togo, set the stage for U15 boys and girls from schools across West Africa.

The qualifiers, scheduled for November in Niamey, Niger will see Nigeria competing in group B alongside Benin and Cote d'Ivoire.

While Ghana will play in group A with Burkina Faso and the host Niger.

An initiative by CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe, the African Schools Football Championship is committed to youth development, involving over 800,000 players from 28,000 schools across 44 countries.
