African Volleyball Championship: Nigeria Beat Morocco In Classification Game

Team Nigeria women's volleyball team played their first classification match in the ongoing African Volleyball Championship and recorded an emphatic victory over Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The hope of the Nigerian team getting a podium finish was dashed on Tuesday after they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Kenya.

They confronted Morocco on Wednesday in the classification and won 3-0.

The game was keenly contested but Nigeria came out victorious 26-24, 25-21, 29-27.

Nigeria will play Algeria in their next classification game to determine the 5th-place team.
