African Women Youth Championship: Team Nigeria Handball Team Storms Tunisia

Ahead of the 19th African Youth Women's Championship, Team Nigeria Women's Handball team has landed in Monatir, Tunisia venue of the competition, BSNSsports.com.ng reports.

The team had been in close camping at the Rowe Park Sports Center in Yaba Lagos getting ready for the championship.

While in camp the team played four friendly matches against Tojemarine Academy Under 17 Boys team and ASPAC HBC of Benin Republic.

After the warm-up game, the team coach Shittu Agboola selected the players that would carry the country's flag.

They touched down in Tunisia on Friday evening brimming with confidence.

The Nigerian side will face their counterpart from Algeria on Saturday at 2 pm local in the opening game.
