African Women’s Club Volleyball Championship: NCS Rally Past VLA In Cairo

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) produced a spirited comeback to defeat Volleyball League of Africa (VLA) of the Democratic Republic of Congo 3-1 at the ongoing 2026 CAVB Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship in Cairo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian side showed resilience after dropping a closely contested opening set 24-26, responding strongly to take control of the match.
NCS bounced back in the second set with improved coordination and attacking efficiency, claiming it 25-20 to level the contest.
They maintained their momentum in the third set, dominating proceedings to secure a comfortable 25-16 win.
In the fourth set, NCS held their nerve in another tight battle, edging VLA 24-19 to seal a 3-1 victory.
The win marks an important result for the Nigerian representatives as they continue their campaign in the continental championship, showcasing determination and growing confidence on the big stage.
