African Youth Championship: Nigeria Among Countries Seeking For Honours In Tunisia

Nigeria youth players are among the players listed to take part in the upcoming African Cadet and junior table tennis championship slated for Tunisia, BSNsports.com.ng reports.


Taiwo Mati and Samuel Boboye are among the players listed to participate in the tournament that will involve 14 African countries.


According to the President of the Tunisian Federation of Table Tennis Lotfi Guerfi, the African junior championship ( boys and girls) will serve as a warm-up competition for the World Cup slated also for Tunisia.


Following are the countries that will partake in the African Youth Championship, Tunisia, Algeria, Cote D'Ivoire, Cameroon, DR Congo, Egypt, Kenya, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Togo, Burkina Faso and Madagascar.


The tournament will run from the 21st to 27th, 2022 in Monastir.
