Afro-Asian Cup Returns After 24 Years

The abolished Afro-Asian Cup competition is set to return in 2025 according to the organizer, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The competition which was established in 1986 is contested between the winners of the African Champions League and the Asian Champions League.

It was cancelled in 2000 due to some logistical reasons. 

According to the update from Qatar, the one-game final will be staged in 2025 in Qatar and it will be between Al Ahly of Egypt and Al Ain of Qatar.
