AfroBasket 2025: D’Tigress Set For Quarter-final Clash With Cameroon Or Angola

Nigeria’s D’Tigress will face either Cameroon or Angola in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Women’s AfroBasket Championship in Cote d’Ivoire, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The reigning African champions secured their spot in the last eight after a hard-fought 60–55 victory over Mozambique in their second Group D game on Monday.

It marked their second win of the tournament, having opened their campaign with an emphatic 92–45 triumph over Rwanda on Saturday.

The round of 16 tie between Cameroon and Angola is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, with the winner set to face D’Tigress in the quarter-finals on Thursday, July 31.
