Afrobasket Qualifiers: NBBF Announces Replacement For Unavailable D'Tigers

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has announced the replacement for the unavailable D'Tigers players ahead of the 2025 FIBA Afro Basket Qualifiers 3rd Window, set to take place in Tripoli, Libya, from February 17-24, 2025, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the NBBF, they have invited three new players to replace Michael Okiki, Patrick Abah and Azeez Sulaimon who are unavailable at the moment.

The players to replace them are: Favour Aboje (Nile University), Israel Philip (Nigeria Customs), and Johnson Anaye (Rivers Hoopers).

Meanwhile, the camp of the Home-based players has opened in Abuja, which will run until February 16 while the foreign-based players will then join the selected home-based players in Tripoli, Libya, on February 17 for the final phase of camp and the competition.
