Sampson Adedeji
Harsh allegations of age cheating have overshadowed the ongoing CAF U15 Schools Championship in Zimbabwe, BSNSports.com.ng reports
Morocco has accused Senegal of fielding over-age players following their exit from the tournament, raising eyebrows across the competition.
Reports suggest that some of the Senegalese players involved in the controversy have physical attributes that fuel the claims, making the accusations harder to dismiss.
This is not the first time such allegations have surfaced at the tournament.
Uganda was previously accused of fielding predominantly over-aged players, intensifying scrutiny on age verification procedures in the CAF Schools Championship.
The incident has reignited debates over the need for stricter age-testing protocols to ensure fair play in African youth football.
