Age Scandal Shakes Cameroon Football

By Sampson Adedeji Cameroonian football is once again in the spotlight following a major age fraud scandal at the youth level, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has been in conflict with the Central African Republic's football authorities over allegations of fielding overage players in the U-17 qualifiers.

According to reports from Cameroon, an astonishing 62 players have been found guilty of age falsification.

As a result, all implicated players have been indefinitely suspended for misrepresenting their ages.
