Aghahowa Urges Chelle To Instill Right Mentality In Super Eagles

Former Super Eagles forward Julius Aghahowa has called on newly appointed coach Eric Sekou Chelle to instil the right mentality in the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Speaking on Brila FM radio about Chelle's appointment, the ex-Wigan Athletic striker emphasized that the key issue with Nigerian players is their mentality, which often stems from their club environments.

"We don’t lack talent, but hopefully, he’ll bring a new mentality," Aghahowa said.

"I’m eager to see how he influences the team’s work rate and mindset."

He further explained, "Our challenge has always been the mentality of players when transitioning from their clubs to representing Nigeria."
