Ahmad Liman's hattrick helped Sunshine Stars to return to winning ways after beating Kwara United 4-2, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Owena Whales, who are struggling in the relegation zone got the better of Kwara United in a match day 27 NPFL encounter at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne.

Despite Issa Gata and Wasiu Alalade's goals, the hosts, under Abubakar Bala, held on to pick the maximum points in a keenly contested clash.

With his hattrick, Liman became the second player to put three goals past a goalkeeper this season and has now scored five goals - four since joining the Owena Whales.
