Former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is on the verge of a move to Kazakhstan, where he could reunite with compatriot Victor Moses, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

A reliable source disclosed that Musa has been approached by Kazakhstani giants FC Kaysar as the club steps up efforts to strengthen its squad ahead of the new campaign.

The proposed move is aimed at pairing the experienced forward with former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses, who is already plying his trade in the Central Asian nation.

Musa, who captained the Super Eagles and remains one of Nigeria’s most decorated attackers, brings a wealth of international experience, having featured at multiple FIFA World Cups and Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

The 31-year-old forward’s potential switch is expected to boost the profile of the Kazakh league while providing FC Kaysar with proven attacking quality and leadership.

Negotiations are believed to be ongoing, with further details expected in the coming days should both parties reach an agreement.
