Ahmed Musa To Feature In Portugal Friendly, Makes Injury Return For Sivasspor

Ahmed Musa looks set to earn his place in Jose Peseiro's Super Eagles list for the November 17 pre-Qatar World Cup International friendly game between Portugal and Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Sivasspor of Turkey attacking winger who missed Nigeria's last tune-up match against Algeria Desert Foxes; At Stade Olympique D'oran in September, should be available in the high-profile game billed for the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon.
Ahmed Musa who underwent doctor's knives in September after he fractured his arm in a Super Lig game at Ankaragucu, gave Peseiro the news to cheer about after he made his return from injury in Thursday's Europa Conference League match away to Slavia Prague.
The Super Eagles captain played for almost a quarter of an hour when he came on in the 76th minute as Sivasspor qualified for the last 16 as group winners of Europe's third-tier inter-club football.
Sivasspor were held to a 1-1 draw by the home team and in the end, secured the top spot with 11 points.
Meanwhile, the meeting in Lisbon is part of the preparation for this year’s World Cup.
The 2016 European champions will open their World Cup campaign against Ghana seven days after the game with Nigeria before facing Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
