Ahmed Musa Undergoes Successful Surgery On Fractured Left Arm

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has had successful surgery on his left arm, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian sustained an injury in a league game, hence was ruled out of the international warmup game against Algeria Desert Foxes at the Stade Olympique d’Oran.

Algeria, finally won the game on Tuesday night courtesy of goals from Riyad Mahrez with a 41st-minute penalty to draw the tie level heading into the break before Youcef Atal's long-range strike on the hour mark, after Terem Moffi had opened the scoring early in the game.

Musa's Turkish club Sivasspor informed that: Our football player Ahmed Musa; was operated on at Acıbadem Kayseri Hospital after the injury he suffered during the Toto Super Lig Ankaragücü match.

His left forearm which he fractured, has been operated on at the Acıbadem Kayseri Hospital Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialists

The surgery was carried out by a team consisting of Prof. Dr Sinan KaraogluDrr. Bertan Cengiz and Dr Mehmet Sergeant.

Musa joins his teammate and fellow countryman Leke James on the sideline.
