Aiteo Cup: Quarterfinal Matches To Hold On Saturday

After much deliberations and discussions, the remaining quarter-final matches are set to resume this weekend across the three venues, BSNsports.com.ng understand.

The competition was put to a halt a few weeks ago the Nigeria Football Federation submitted the name of Kwara United to CAF as the country's second representative in the Confederation cup.

The decision infuriated the remaining teams campaigning in the tournament as the winner of the Aiteo Cup is believed to take the slot.

The federation has to meet with the representatives of the aggrieved clubs and agreed to compensate them.

The football body on Monday announced Saturday 27th of August as the for the three remaining quarter-final matches.

The remaining matches includes; Nasarawa United v Wikki Tourists,

Kogi United V Kano Pillars and Tornadoes v Lobi Stars.

Heartland FC are already in the semi-final habing defeated Katsina United on penalties.
