Former Nigerian International Dele Aiyenugba has urged the Super Eagles handlers to stick with Stanley Nwabali as the team's first-choice goalkeeper, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Chippa United made two quick saves to deny the Cheetahs of Benin the opportunity to register a goal in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo. The former Enyimba International goalkeeper admitted that Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is also good and believes his time will come. " I think the Super Eagles must stick with Nwabali as the first choice because he has done well for Nigeria. He made two vital saves in the second half that could have leveled parity for Benin. “Yes, Maduka Okoye has been doing well with his club Udinese in the Serie A, but then I want to believe his time will come. “I love the competition in the goalkeeping department for the Super Eagles, and I know it will be good for the team", he said.
