Ajax FC Sympathise With Tijani Babangida Over Loss of Son

Players and fans of Ajax FC on Sunday came out with a banner in support of ex-player and legend, Tijani Babangida, who lost his son in a car accident earlier this month, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Ajax and Vitesse players wished Babangida strength with the inscription: "Dear Baba, this is for you."

The former player of both teams was seriously injured in a car accident last week that claimed the lives of his son and brother.

Also, former Ajax and Manchester United coach, Louis van Gaal sent a message to Babangida over the unfortunate incident. 

Recall that ex Super Eagles star, Tijani Babangida and his brother Ibrahim Babangida along with their wives were travelling along the Kaduna-Zaria highway when the car they were in was involved in the accident. Youth teamer Ibrahim Babangida died on the spot.
