Ajayi Returns To Action In Hull City Defeat To Millwall

Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi made his return to action for Hull City A.F.C. in their 3–1 defeat to Millwall F.C., marking his first club appearance of 2026, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The centre-back had been sidelined with an injury he sustained while representing Nigeria national football team during the Africa Cup of Nations.

Ajayi’s return will come as a major boost for Hull City as they continue their campaign, with the Nigerian international now fully recovered and back in contention for regular playing time.

Despite his comeback, Hull City were unable to avoid defeat as Millwall secured a comfortable 3–1 victory in the encounter. 

Ajayi will now be hoping to regain full match fitness and help strengthen Hull City's defence in the coming fixtures.
