Nigeria’s Kayinsola Ajayi has claimed victory in the men’s 100 metres at the GalAthletics Bellinzona in Switzerland after clocking an impressive 9.91 seconds, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ajayi produced a strong performance in a highly competitive field, recording 9.91s with a legal wind reading of +0.2m/s to secure the top spot.

American Ronnie Baker finished second in 9.94s, while South African sprint star Akani Simbine settled for third in 9.95s.

The victory adds another significant achievement to Ajayi’s impressive season as the Nigerian sprinter continues to establish himself as one of the leading 100m runners on the international circuit.
