Ajibade, Nnadozie, Edo Queens, Others Listed for CAF Awards

The Confederation of African Football has announced the nominees for the Women's category of the 2024 award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigerian players and coaches dominated the list of nominees and Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was nominated twice.

According to the list Nnadozie alongside Rasheedat Ajibade made the list of the Women's Player of the year.

The duo of coach Bankole Olowookere of Flamingos, Chris Danjuma of Falconets and Moses Adukwu of Edo Queens were nominated for Coach Of The Year award.

Nnadozie and Edo Queens goalkeeper Monle Owono made the list for goalkeeper of the year while Edo Queens was nominated for the club of the year award.

The duo of Sebastian Flourish and Chiamaka Okhuchukwu made the list of young player of the year while Super Falcons, Flamingos and Falconets made the team of thr year list.

The winner is expected to be announced on the 16th of December in Marrakech Morocco
