Akor Adams, Ejuke Named In Squad For Alavés Match

The coach of Sevilla FC announced on Friday afternoon that fit-again Super Eagles duo Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke are part of the 24-man squad for the trip to Vitoria, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Sevilla will face Deportivo Alavés on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in a match corresponding to the fifth round of LaLiga for the 2025/26 season.

The only notable absentee from the squad is midfielder Joan Jordán.

Although he has returned to training after summer surgery for a herniated disc, he is still working to regain his lost form.

In addition, Álvaro Fernández, the fourth goalkeeper in the rotation, has been excluded from the squad.

Adams and Ejuke have successfully recovered from their muscle injuries and could potentially be included in the starting lineup, assuming their fitness allows it.

Rubén Vargas, who experienced cramping at the end of the match against Elche CF, also had no serious issues; he only dealt with an overload in his calves.
