Akor Adams Leaves Camp To Attend To Sick Mother
Ibrahim Lateef BSNSports.com.ng can report that Akor Jerome Adams has left the Super Ragles camp in Fes to visit his mother, who has been hospitalized in Morocco.
The Nigeria Football Federation announced this development on its X handle, stating, "Akor Adams has been granted permission to leave camp to be with his mum, who was hospitalized on Monday. We’re sending prayers and strength to him and wishing his mum a quick recovery."
The 25-year-old had dedicated his goal in the 4-0 thrashing of the Mambas of Mozambique in the Round of 16 of AFCON 2025.
Akor made his debut for the Nigerian national team during their 2-1 win against Lesotho back in October 2025 and has quickly become a regular starter in Eric Chelle's squad.
Since then, he has started six of Nigeria's seven games alongside Victor Osimhen.
