Chairman of Akwa United, Elder Paul Bassey has revealed that the Promise Keepers have shortlisted three coaches to replace Fatai Osho.

BSNSports.com.ng scooped from an interview, the Akwa United boss had with Total Naija Football Host, Samuel Maurice.

According to Bassey, the club is still looking at the shortlisted three coaches adding that the standards are very high, which has made it difficult to secure the services of a coach.

He however noted that the current caretaker coach, Umar Abdullahi is doing a good job, disclosing that they have taken advantage of the transfer window to bring in new players.

He said: "It's been difficult getting a coach I must confess to you. Our standards are very high. We have shortlisted three coaches and we are still looking at them.

"We took advantage of the transfer window to bring about three of four players. They made a lot of difference here."
