Akwa United set to unveil Deji Ayeni as new head coach today

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Akwa United are set to announce and signed dotted lines with Sunshine Stars’ Deji Ayeni as the club’s new head coach this afternoon, BSNSports.com.ng reports .

Ayeni will take over from title-winning coach Kennedy Boboye who left the dug-out of Promise Keepers in the month of February.

Deputy Head Coach Ali Jolomi has been in charge of the team since the dismissal of Boboye and will now step aside for the new man.

The unveiling of Deji Ayeni will take place this afternoon (Thursday 24th) at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium by 1pm.
