Ben Akwuegbu FC Sends Warning Signals To NLO Opponents After Beating Bitty Boys 3-0

Benedict Akwuegbu FC defeated Bitty Boys Football Club 3-0 in their first friendly match to send warning signals to their opponents in the 2022/23 Nigeria Nationwide League One, NLO.

This, after the management of the club selected 30 players out of 60 during the screening sessions held in Jos.

The exercises which was done under the watchful eyes of the Technical Adviser of the team, Sam Pam Junior and General Manager, Rotimi Adeniji saw the selection of players that will prosecute their matches in the Nationwide Division One League next season. 

As part of Preparations for the task ahead, the team played its first friendly match, against Bitty Boys Football Academy, of Sabon Barki Jos.

The match ended three goals to nil in favour of the Akwuegbu Boys. The first goal was scored in the first half, while the two others came in the second half. 

The General Manager of the team, Rotimi Adeniji was full of praises for the team, saying that the team is a work in progress. He further revealed that more friendly matches have been lined up for the team, to prepare them adequately. 

Vice-president of the team, Ishaya Pam who was also at the match venue, advised the boys to remain focused and ensure that they imbibe discipline as their watchword to enable that they get to the highest level of their football career.
