Al Ahly, Mosimane Agrees To Path Ways

With almost 2 years in charge South Africa and Al Ahly manager Pitso Mosimane has agreed to step from his position as the head coach of the club, BSNsports.com.ng understand


Mosimane had joined Al Ahly back in 2020, and his stint with the Reds saw massive success on both continental and international levels.


The decision to step down came after heavy criticism towards the South African, especially after losing the 2022 CAF Champions League final to Wydad.


" Al Ahly and Mosimane reached an agreement to part ways,” the statement said.


During his 21 months in charge, Mosimane had led the Reds to three CAF Champions League finals, of which he won two.


He had also led the team to two consecutive FIFA Club World Cup bronze medals, two CAF Super Cup victories, in addition to an Egypt Cup and Overall, Super Cup title


Pitso led the Red Devils to 65 victories, 22 draws, and only 10 defeats.
