Abdelkader Bedrane could be out of next Tuesday international friendly game between Algeria and Nigeria at the 40,000-capacity Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In a post-match press conference after the Desert Foxes defeated Guinea by one goal to nil, the Algeria national coach Djamel Belmadi gave an update on the situation of Abdelkader Bedrane.

“Bedrane fell on his knee. His knee did not turn. He is going to be examined and have a scan,” said the national team coach.

The Damac FC of Saudi Arabia defender hurt himself during the friendly meeting of the Foxes against the Syli national of Guinea.

However, Belmadi did not fail to salute the great performance of Nabil Bentaleb, the midfielder of SCO Angers, for his return to the squad in the friendly match last Friday.

“ There were a lot of new players with few selections Tougai, Bentaleb, Delort, Zeghba. These are players who do not have many selections. That was the main objective,” Belmadi said.

“Bentaleb, his position is the midfield, the position in which he feels best. This is where I see his best," he added.
