Former Plateau United of Jos attacker Tosin Omoyele has expressed his happiness after ending the first stanza of the Algeria league with USM Kchenchela on a good note, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Omoyele moved to the Algeria league in mid-2022 after he ended the Nigeria Professional Football League in the colours of Katsina United.

Since he arrived in the North African country, the former Enyimba striker has been regular with the club.

Omoyele was in action on Saturday evening in Kchenchela's 2-0 win over Chlef.

He expressed his excitement immediately after the game as the first of the league ended.

"First stanza of the league is done and dusted.

We are not there yet but we are closer to our goals and I’m happy to end it without injury.

Thank you all for the support", he said.

Omoyele has played 12 out of the 14 matches the club has played so far, scoring once.
