Alimi Reflects On His Match Winning Performance Against Plateau United

Remo Stars goal poacher, Sikiru Alimi has reflected on his match-winning performance against Plateau United on MatchDay 11 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Alimi's lone goal against the Peace Boys was enough to return the Sky Blue Stars to the summit on the NPFL log following his 9th goal of the campaign.  

According to him; "It was a hard-fought victory. I want to appreciate my teammates and the technical crew. We did our utmost best coming into this game. 

"I'm very happy with the team's spirit. We can do better and I think we have been doing it and can go all the way. I want them (fans) to keep supporting us and with their support we can do more."

Remo Stars remain the only team so far in the league this season with two away wins as they aim to lift the NPFL for the first time in their history.
