Aliyu Zubair Mourns Death Of Elkanemi Warriors Goalkeeper

The Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, Aliyu Zubair has mourned the death of one of the club's goalkeepers, Agbor Ekoi, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Agbor reportedly died on Thursday in a fatal road accident.

Zubairu described his death as unfortunate and noted that Ekoi will be dearly missed by the club, families and relatives.

"Agbor's death is an unfortunate one. He's such a good goalkeeper with a lot of potential. It's a huge loss for us as a club and to me as his Coach."

While sending his sincere condolences to his immediate family, Zubairu, who doubles as the Head Coach of the Nigeria Flying Eagles prayed to God to grant them a fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and also grant the deceased an eternal rest.
