Super Falcons player, Ramat Abdulkareem has called on parents and guardians to allow their girl-child pursue their dreams as footballers or athletes, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Kogi-born player who plies her trade for Henan Jianye Women's Football Club in China noted that being footballers or athletes doesn't make women less feminine.

"Dear parents allow your girl child to pursue their dreams of being an athlete, being a female footballer doesn’t make us less a woman, even if we look masculine it still doesn’t make us less a woman, we are potential mothers, wives. You can still look feminine and play soccer."

She had previously played for Abia Angels, Adamawa Queens, and Confluence Queens in the Nigerian Women Football League Premiership.
