Former Bendel Insurance safe hands, Amas Obasogie has penned an emotional message to the club after his departure, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Obasogie made a return to the Super Eagles set-up for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda. Obasogie left the NPFL side for Ethiopia, where he signed a two-year deal with Fasil Ketema FC in Ethiopia's top division. He said: "As I bid farewell to my darling team, BENDEL INSURANCE, my heart is heavy, but my soul is filled with so much gratitude. "From my days as a young player to joining the team, a rare opportunity is given to a boy to showcase his talent. "It was a hard decision to take on this new challenge, because of all the memories we have shared, which will stay with me forever. "I want to thank all my teammates for their unwavering support; you never left me alone on the battlefield; it's because of you that this has happened. "To all the coaching staff, media team, kit managers security, chefs, executives members, and my lovely fans Bendel insurance, your love and support throughout my stay helped me get better.
